My ideal client is helping someone who is struggling with emotional pain that may be from the result of trauma, neglect, or difficult life circumstances. For troubled youth, this might manifest as anger, defiance, or withdrawal, with a need for understanding, stability, and a safe space to express their emotions. For adults grappling with mental health issues, the struggle may involve navigating societal pressures to appear strong and unemotional, leading to feelings of isolation, anxiety, or depression. Adults also need a non-judgmental environment where they can explore their vulnerabilities and redefine their sense of self.

My therapeutic approach employs a blend of evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to client unique needs. This may consist of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma focused therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and/or aspects of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

I understand that taking the first step towards seeking help can feel overwhelming, especially when you're dealing with so much on your own. Whether you’re a young person struggling to make sense of difficult emotions or an adult facing the weight of unspoken challenges, I want you to know that you’re not alone. It’s okay to ask for support.
